Research Profile
Dr Lui has published in peer-reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Gastroenterology, Gut, and Nature Communications with a h-index of 18 (Google Scholar). He currently serves as the Founding Co-Chair of the Emerging Leaders Committee, Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology (APAGE), Member of the Young Members Committee, World Gastroenterology Organization, Member of the Asia Pacific Working Group on Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Vice President of the Hong Kong Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He was a past member of the Scientific Committee for Gastrointestinal Tumours of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Asia Congress 2021/2022, and served on the ASCO Trainee and Early Career (TEC) Advisory Group in 2021-22. In addition, he is currently the Social Media Editor for the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, an Editor and Member of the Expert Advisory Panel on Social Media of the HKMJ, and an Editorial Board Member of the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Journal of Korean Medical Science, Hepatoma Research, and Cancer Screening and Prevention.
