Whitney Cheung is currently a service resident of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Prince of Wales Hospital, New Territories East Cluster (NTEC), Hospital Authority. She graduated from the University of Amsterdam and obtained her PhD in Medicine at the University of Amsterdam in 2016. She received Gastroenterology & Hepatology training under professor Paul Fockens and professor Geert D’Haens at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
